Making lifestyle changes has been the hardest and easiest thing I’ve ever done. The beginning is always hard – routines change, my internal clock goes out of whack and I constantly battle self-doubt. Then after a few days of ‘taking action’ my body and mind adapt and I literally crave the next day. Once I begin to feel growth from within I’m hooked. Whether it’s the next workout, the next lesson, or even my next rejection. This is also called momentum, and I don’t want to lose this. Its like a drug addict going through rehab, then after a period of time being clean, decides to give in to their vice, and BOOM, they’re back at square one, repeating old habits. Even knowing this, I still lose my momentum from time to time. Life tends to get in the way and distract me, and I have to head back to the drawing board and start at square one. It’s crucial I have a clear understanding of my goals and the clarity to find my stride without distraction. Here’s a great vlog I found from Tony Robbins on momentum.
